ISO File

I have downed the ISO file and I think I have burned it to DVD, how do I go about Installing?

"You think" - heh
First of all, lets find out if you burn the ISO image properly: You have to open the ISO file in your DVD Burning program, either Roxio or NERO or any other burning software that supports burning DVD ISO Images, here is an example case in NERO: NERO
Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Installation depends on a number of things, whether its Vista x86 or x64. If its Vista x86, you can launch setup from within Windows 2000 or XP x86 and choose the custom option when it becomes available and install to a logical partition or you can upgrade from Windows XP SP2 or you can boot from the DVD and install on a clean partition.
For Vista x64, you have to boot from the DVD or launch setup from within XP Professional x64, no upgrade path is currently supported. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
