It came in the form of an .iso file. But what exactly am I supposed to do with it. I assume it's something along the lines of burning it onto a disc, but I tried that with Nero and just ended up with a copy of the .iso file on a disc!!!!!!!! looked up the man md5 and it says this creates an md5 hash total for the file. This does not answer my question. "I have read a lot about people checking the FBSD new version ISO files to there matching md5sum totals to verify the ISO file downloaded correctly. What commands does a person use to do this?

A little education needed - ISO image file?
Trying to back up a lengthy document of my writing I managed somehow to get it converted into an .iso image file (with Easy Cd Creator 5) - by my ignorance of the tech - and now I can't open it with WP.
